Acugems was founded in 2003 in Santa Barbara California and through the personal life journey, education and growth of the Acugems founder, Dr. Aracely Plateroti. Her goal is to create innovative products and provide education to harmonize the body, emotions, mind and spirit. Acugems evolved from the passion Dr. Aracely Plateroti has for the Wisdom of Chinese Medicine, Integrative Western Medicine, Science, Research, and Education.

ACUGEMS History

Acugems was born from an invention by Dr. Aracely Plateroti, a patented method of Treatment with the Combination of a Gem or a Crystal Removably Attached With a Mechanical Coupling Device to an acupuncture Needle or to a Vibratory, Electrical Device for Acupressure Treatment. Acugems uses the patented technology in many therapy systems being used by M.D.'s, D.O.'s,D.C.'s, N.D.'s, O.M.D's, L. Ac.'s Clinical Esthetician's, health providers, medical school clinics and communities. The success of Dr. Aracely Plateroti's patent is founded on the efficacy of the gem spiral helix design, which is based on years of clinical research.

About Dr. Aracely Plateroti, O.M.D., Ph.D.

Dr. Aracely Plateroti O.M.D., Ph.D., received her Doctorate in Oriental Medicine from American Liberty University, Los Angeles California. Masters of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from the Santa Barbara College of Oriental Medicine, Bachelor of Biological Science in Environmental Health and is currently pursuing a NMD, Naturopathic Medical Doctor Degree offered only to Board Certified Physician. Dr. Aracely Plateroti is also a Licensed Acupuncturist by the California Acupuncture Board and National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine to provide Primary Medical Care. Dr. Aracely Plateroti is an acclaimed educator, inventor and has taught numerous training seminars throughout the United States. Dr. Aracely Plateroti maintains a successful medical practice at the Plateroti Center for Holistic Medicine in the Central Coast of California.
